Join us at the Albany Public Library for a talk by prize-winning author, home cook and food historian Liz Harfull!
Liz Harfull is an author and community food historian who specialises in traditional home cooking. Her books focus on the stories behind community-sourced cookbooks such as those by the CWA, and the women who compiled them.
Liz has written ten books, including two international prize winners about Australian show and home-cooking traditions, a series capturing the life stories of rural women, and popular local history books featuring her favourite seaside town of Robe, on South Australia’s Limestone Coast.
Her latest,The New Blue Ribbon Cookbook, is a treasury of time-honoured recipes that have been tested in competition, and a compendium of priceless knowledge and advice from prize-winning cooks and meticulous show judges who have refined the art of making and selecting the best of the best.
